OKS Spezialschmierstoffe GmbH successfully passed the audit of the Accident Prevention an Insurance Association of the German Chemical Industry (BG Chemie) on 2nd October 2007. The according certificate was presented to OKS Managing Director Norbert Schiekl in the presence of Dr. Markus Leirer, who headed the preparations, by the BG Chemie on 5th December, 2007.
The Accident Prevention and Insurance Association of the Chemical Industry (BG Chemie), headquartered in Heidelberg, is Germany`s statuatory accident insurance carrier for businesses in the chemical industry and related industries. The BG Chemie supports and advises its member companies particularly in preventing industrial accidents and protecting the health of employees. Gor this purpose BG Chemie performs an audit to assess whether occupational health and safety in a company is systematically organised, and implemented by the company and its staff in everyday business operations.
